On Thursday, December 4, 2025. IFEZ co-hosted the "Forum on Institutional Improvements for Attracting the Content Industry to the Incheon Free Economic Zone" with National Assembly members Kim Gyo-heung, Bae Jun-young, Lee Yong-woo, and Jung Il-young. The forum aimed to discuss the introduction of incentive systems at the level of competing overseas countries to attract foreign film companies to K-Conland within the Incheon Free Economic Zone, as well as the revision of the "Special Act on Free Economic Zones" to support these efforts. The event began with greetings from key guests, followed by presentations and a comprehensive discussion. Kim Rak-gyun, head of a division at the Korea Creative Content Agency, presented on global film production incentive systems and the direction for free economic zones. Based on the outcomes of this forum, IFEZ plans to promote the proposal of related legislation and, after amendments to the laws, establish a new ordinance in Incheon Metropolitan City to achieve tangible investment attraction results.
