On Tuesday, November 25, 2025, IFEZ held an opening ceremony for the Bio Process Training Center at Yonsei University's International Campus. The event was attended by representatives from Incheon Metropolitan City, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Yonsei University, Incheon Technopark, and other industry-academia-research stakeholders. The center is expected to become a global hub for training 2,000 practical bio professionals annually. Located on Yonsei University's International Campus in Songdo International City, the center spans 6,600 square meters (approximately 2,000 pyeong) and is equipped with advanced training facilities and an advanced bio process education system that meet GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice for pharmaceuticals) standards. IFEZ anticipates that the opening of this center will create jobs in the bio industry, drive a leap forward for the bio cluster, activate the industry-academia-research ecosystem, and foster a virtuous cycle of innovation leading to entry into the global market.
