On November 28, 2025 (Friday), IFEZ signed a land sale contract with Samsung Biologics at Incheon Metropolitan City Hall for an industrial facility site (187,427㎡) in the Advanced Industrial Cluster (C) of Songdo International City's 11th district. This contract aims to establish a bio village for next-generation biopharmaceutical research, development, and manufacturing, including cell and gene therapies. The total project investment is estimated at 7 trillion KRW, with the facility expected to create over 4,000 new jobs by 2034. This initiative strengthens the bio-cluster's competitive edge by attracting anchor companies to Songdo's 11th district.
